We have images on file from our very first year in business, so in those cases the answer would be "a very long time", but we are evolving that practice with the delivery of digital images to our clients. Because we now deliver digital files to our clients, our storage time is now shorter - usually a year or two. Providing the files up-front provides the better solution in our opinion - especially with how mobile people are now.
